How to Post a Question
Consult-A-Vet is for Infovets subscribers only.
Here are some step by step instructions on how to ask a question:
- Click on the disclaimer agreement if you are in the Consult-a-Vet area.
- Find the forum you are interested in. For example, the forum titled
"Equine General Questions" will have general equine questions and
answers. If this fits the type of question you have, simply click on the text "Equine General Questions."
- This will list all the questions that have been posted before. If you do
not see your question, you can use the search button at the top of the page to
search for a question similar to yours.
- If you do not find a question and answer that works, click on the post
new topic at the bottom or top of the page.
- At this point if you have not logged in, it will prompt you to do so.
- After logging in, you can enter your question title and then the
question.
- After entering your question, click on the post question button and it
will be posted on the website.
Our veterinarians will try and get to the questions within 48 hours, except on
holidays or weekends; However, during times of high question volumes please
allow up to 5 days to receive an answer. Because of this, please do not ask any emergency questions.
You will be notified via email when an answer has been posted.
