Product Description: This product, containing propylene glycol, malic acid, benzoic acid, and salicylic acid, is used to clean the ear.
Indications for Use: Oti-Clens can be used prior to administering other ear preparations. This product is commonly used in situations where the ear is infected (otitis externa) and cleaning is required. It can be given to animals of all ages.
Dosage and Administration: Oti-Clens should be administered directly into the ear canal. Enough should be given to allow a "sloshing" sound to be heard when the ear is massaged. If directed by a veterinarian, Oti-Clens can be used as often as 3 times a day. See page B180 for additional suggestions.
Precautions and Side Effects: Oti-Clens should not be given if the ear drum is broken. This product should not contact the animal’s eye and should only be used topically. No object should ever be inserted into the ear beyond where the eye can see.
Packaging: The product comes in 4 ounce bottles.
Storage: Oti-Clens does not require refrigeration.
