Product Description: This is a vaccine for the prevention of canine distemper (CD), adenovirus type-2 (canine hepatitis), parainfluenza, parvovirus, and coronavirus.
* Studies indicate that this vaccine has a greater ability of protecting young puppies against parvo than does many other similar products. This is because the vaccine more readily overcomes maternal antibodies against that virus. The parvovirus portion of this product is a potentiated MLV vaccine. (See page A900 for additional information on potentiated MLV vaccines.)
Dosage and Administration: Give a 1 mL dose IM or SQ to puppies 6 weeks of age or older. A second and third dose should be given every 3 weeks and annual re-vaccination is recommended thereafter. See the vaccination recommendations on page A905. Immediately prior to administration, reconstitute the vaccine with the liquid provided.
Precautions and Side Effects: Allergic reactions are a possibility. See page E200 for additional information on allergic reactions. Use only in healthy animals.
Packaging: This product comes in one dose vials.
Storage: Keep refrigerated, in the dark, and avoid freezing.
