Indications for Use: This product can be used for the prevention and control of fleas (Ctenocephalides felis), the prevention of heartworm (Dirofilaria immitis), and the treatment and control of ear mite (Otodectes cynotis) infestations. Revolution can also be used to control infestations of sarcoptic mange (Sarcoptes scabiei) and tick (Dermacentor variabilis) problems.

Dosage and Administration: Revolution should be applied once a month on the skin at the base of the neck at a dose of 2.7 mg per pound of weight. Key points for administering Revolution include the following:

1. Apply when the pet’s coat is dry
2. Remove the tube from the packaging and hold the tube in an upright position
3. Depress the cap with a thumb to puncture the applicator seal
4. With the fingers, part the hair on the base of the neck until skin is visible
5. Apply the appropriate amount of Revolution directly to the skin
6. Do not massage or handle the area until all the product has completely dried
7. Wait at least two hours before bathing or exposing a pet to rain or snow

Precautions and Side Effects: Revolution should only be used in dogs that are older than 6 weeks. Do not use this product with other pesticides. If skin irritation or other problems arise with the pet, consult a veterinarian immediately. If the product contacts the skin or eyes of a person associated with the pet, immediately flush the areas with water. If accidental ingestion occurs, contact poison control immediately. Avoid contact with the any of the product that is still wet. The pet can be safely held or played with once the product has completely dried.

Storage: This product is flammable and should be stored below 86°F.
