Product Description: This is an intramammary antibiotic effective against Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus agalactiae.
Indications For Use: This product should be used in a dry animal for the treatment of mastitis. A specific diagnosis of what is causing the mastitis should be based on clinical signs and culture and sensitivity.
Not approved for use in sheep and goats. Refer to extra-label drug use.
Dosage and Administration: Before injection, milk the udder completely, wash the udder and teats thoroughly, and use an alcohol swab on each teat end. Infuse each infected half at time of drying off with 1/2 of a 10 mL syringe. After injection, gently massage the udder.
Packaging: This product comes in packages of 1 or 12, 10 mL syringes.
Precautions and Side Effects: This drug is for use in dry animals only and should not be used within 30 days of lambing or kidding.
Storage: Store at room temperature (59-86°F) and avoid excessive heat.
Milk Withholding: Not established in sheep and goats. 72 hours after calving in cattle.
Meat Withholding: Not established in sheep and goats. 42 days after last infusion in cattle.
