Dipping Navels

Betadine (7% tincture) should be placed in a container and replaced after dipping 4-5 navels. In these pictures, an empty 20 mL syringe case is being used.

 

The entire umbilical cord and opening into the abdomen should be submerged in the betadine. This procedure should be repeated daily until the cord falls off. A video of this procedure is found below.
