Product Description:
This product is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent similar to ibuprofen.Indications for Use: Ketofen should be used for the alleviation of inflammation and pain associated with muscle and bone damage or injury.
Dosage and Administration: Once a day, give 1 mL, IV, per 100 lbs. of body weight. A positive response to the drug should begin within 2 hours and peak by 12 hours.
Duration of Treatment: Continue the treatment for as long as symptoms persist, but not longer than 5 days.
Packaging: This product comes in 50 and 100 mL bottles, in a 100 mg/mL concentration.
Precautions and Side Effects: This drug should not be used in breeding or pregnant animals. Drug effects on fertility, pregnancy, or fetal health in horses have not been determined.
Storage and Shelf Life: Store at a controlled room temperature of 59-86°F.
Meat Withholding: Do not use in horses intended for food.
